Can I modify the new topic and reply emails to be formatted in HTML?  I'd like to include images and styles consistent with the site look.

Also, I'd like to include the post message content formatted in HTML, ie., all BB Codes interpreted.

Thanks!

Currently, no.  I'm afraid this is actually a bit difficult to implement in 1.0.x.

I might warn you, sending off emails using HTML will be much more likely to get flagged as spam.

To add to [Unknown]'s comments about 'spam', my personal view (shared by many AFAIK) is that HTML is for websites and not emails. So my mail clients are set up to send and receive text only and, while you're naturally free to disagree, I'd at least consider the possibility that many of your users (through their own choice) wouldn't be seeing the 'images and styles [you believed to be] consistent with the site look'.

I personally like HTML emails...

It would require a lot of modifications to the email function, because you'd have to set it up to send it out in "Multi-Format" mode (both HTML and plain text in one message, and the email client determines which version is displayed) - otherwise people whose email service/client didn't support HTML format would get HTML in their messages, which looks bad.
