This looked so promising when checking out the images, unfortunately, none of the features worked.  everything downloaded and installed successfully.  I even check each php file to make sure everything was added correctly.

I'm on SMF 1.1.11

All I have is on Affiliate tab in my AdminCP, to enable, add HTML, and turn off the marquee.

There's no where to let other add their affiliates, or approve them, and no where to rate.

I see the original coder is no longer supporting this MOD, but does it really work and do what all it says for anyone else on SMF 1.1.11?

Thank You

All that features are only available for SMF 2.0...

An update on this:
I apologize for the (admittedly) ridiculous wait. Real life has been crazy, as evidenced by my hiatus from last month/this month.

I have updated this Mod to install cleanly on RC3, but decided to take the would-be version 3.0.4 to version 3.1 by doing more than just RC3 support. Version 3.1 will include:

  • Support for 2.0 RC3
  • Curvification of the layout, while retaining support for Core-like themes
  • Cleaner code
  • More use of the smcFunctions for better cross-database support
  • Elimination of the <marquee> tag for validation purposes

Please do not solicit support via PM. Here's why!

Is there anyway I can get this mod to work on RC5 or is there a similar mod that's compatible with my SMF version?

PortaMx is probably the best SMF portal!

Hi, I just installed smf 2.0.1 and tried to install this first thing. I am getting the following error messages when trying to install. Can someone explaing what I should do?

Error in Package Installation
At least one error was encountered during a test installation of this package. It is strongly recommended that you do not continue with installation unless you know what you are doing, and have made a backup very recently. This error may be caused by a conflict between the package you're trying to install and another package you have already installed, an error in the package, a package which requires another package that you don't have installed yet, or a package designed for another version of SMF.
Thank you,
Scott

If at first you don't succeed. post and post again.

Manually make the edits to the failed files , then install.

Or try this one.  http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1511   It doesnt have any more support, but it works just fin on my 2.0.2 forum

Ha2 is very rarely around, and when he is, it's not to work on any modifications unfortunately.

Thanks for letting me know about the support for this. I was going to do a manual install for this and see if it works since the other one doesn't have any support either. Hope someone can help me with this.

The first error was obvious. Instead of <h3> they used <h2> in this version. Found it and edited it but the next edit I'm not sure on. In BoardIndex.template.php it says to replaceecho '  </div> </div>'; with the supplied code. But when I look at the code the closest I could find was }
echo '
  </div>
</div></div>
<span class="lowerframe"><span></span></span>';
// Info center collapse object.
starting at line 470. So should I replace the whole thing including the span or just the div's or what? Attached is my BoardIndex.template.php which is from a fresh installed site.
Thank you,
Scott

Try placing the Affiliates edit BEFORE this

echo '
  </div>
</div></div>
