topic index according to recent date

hello,
the topic index is shown according to the replies done to it
means latest the reply the latest the topic

but I want the topic index to be shown according to the latest date when it was made

means if a topic was created like this

1st topic on 20 jan
2nd topic on 19 jan
3rd topic on 18 jan
4th topic on 17 jan
5th topic on 16 jan
6th topic on 15 jan
7th topic on 14 jan
2nd topic on 19 jan
