Announcement Topics on a Restricted Board

I have a board that is restricted to a small group of members.  I'd like to enable it for Annoucement topics; will that send out e-mails to only the members of that group? 

I tried searching the site, but didn't find anything that answered that question.  (I just don't want e-mails getting sent out to everybody.)

When you make Annoucement topic, you will be given the options to choose the group that you want to send to.
