Are theese features included in SMF?

Hi guys

Before I start converting there is some features I use today in YabbSe and I hope that this is possible through SMF as well:

• Nemesises Ultra Sweet IM Sound mod
• Use of announcement Boards. Started by me and solved by [Unknown]

Hope both of thees are already in SMF, but I have'nt found any info about that.

Do you think Nemesis is converting his mod or are there others who will convert it?

Another question about anouncement boards. Now I have a site with over 1800 members in my forum and every tima I post a message in my anouncement bord it takes up to 2 minutes before the post is posted. I suppose this is because of the mail sending feature on new announcements. Is this the same in SMF or will even this go faster?

It's been optimized and should go better, but it still has room for improvement.  (which is still planned, I just haven't gotten to it yet.)
