It would be great if there was a way to keep count of what gets printed from the forum.

Thad be neat but there is point where SMF will become bloated as much as vB and become super slow and resource intensive ;)

The type of site I run.
I use SMF as the backbone of a Christian Chord Chart site. I'm just wondering how many charts get printed from day to day.

Is it really impossible to tally someone clicking the print link?

You could tally that, but you can't tell how many people actually print it, and you can't tell how many would just print the normal forum page either.
