I don't really know what you mean by "default permissions" but they do have basic rights. The only thing I would add to thier permissions is to View & Post attachments, thats just me. Other then that they are just basic rights, that people that don't have a usergorup get.

i mean "default permission" is default permission when set up new board
my friend is set ungrouped member has permission like global moderator when i change it to upgrouped member its permission still same global moderator. can i solve this problem?

Reset the permissions using the "Standard" template/set.
