Any eta on phpbb3?

I run a phpbb3 board and would really love to switch it over to smf. Ive read the few posts here where Jay said he was starting a converter. Just curious.

It is still in development at the moment.
I wouldn't expect to see anything until phpbb3 is final as more database changes may occur to phpbb3 I am guessing.

NP Jay, I was just coming to this thread to let anyone in a huge hurry to get to SMF from PHPBB3 you can take this route:


Convert to punbb using the instructions in this thread:

then use the converter here to convert from punbb to SMF. I did it today with no problems. The only thing is i didnt take the  time to install the PM mod and POLL mod for punbb so i didnt get to convert PMs and POLLS, which was not an issue for me.

I also wanted to say how much I love SMF and look forward to having my site grow with it!
