Finding files/

I'm using hxxp:godaddy.com [nonactive] on a shared hosting plan. The web host already had SMF set up for myself to upload to a SQL data base I'm having problems finding the file needed to to complete mods to make the forum more like our own web site can anyone help?

Do you have FTP access to the host?  The details from godaddy.com should have given you those details, once connected you should get to the the base folder of your host.  Then look for public_html or www folders, you'll find your forum somewhere under that.  Depending on where it was installed.
