1 post out-3 in.

SMF Version: SMF 1.1.4
Hi all.

There is a problem at my forum.
When i am viewing the board index(first page of the forum).
At a board it says:
1 Posts
1 Topics

but when i enter this board i can see the 3 posts(topics)i have made.
What can i do?

If i post another one it will be 2 post and 2 topics.
i have recenlty backuped my forum with a previous database...

Dude thanks a lot!!It worked...I had 222 posts and now with the recount i have 328!!
For anything else i want related to this forum should i post to this topic or create a new one?

EDIT:In a board i have child boards and no topic.
In these boards there are some topics.
At the board index i can see that the board has:
0 posts
0 topics
NEW EDIT:I found how to do that^^^^....

What can i do to make the total number of topics in this board(topics/posts of childboards) be appeared at the board index??

I just started a backup of my forum via FTP.
I noticed that in packages there is a folder that contain some backups,that hold about 1MB each.
Can i delete these backups??They are 90MB....too much..

admin > boards > settings
count child boards in parents totals.

Note, it will only count to a certain depth
eg
Parent > Child > Child > Child > Child > Child etc might not work after a point.

Sorry missed that.

Yes you can delete them, I have on my forum.
Although you may want to do a full backup of your entire site first, so you have them just in case you do ever need them.

You can only turn creation of them off via the Admin > Package Manager >
Then the last tab (farthest to the right), I think its called Package Settings

I have a problem with the preview feature...when i click on it....All i see is "Preview post
Fetching preview..."..Then nothing happens....What can i do?(i am using the default theme)...

What mods do you have installed?
Are you getting any javascript errors?

About the javascript errors...how can i understand if i get some errors of javascript??

If your using IE
you usually get an icon in the status bar (bottom left) of the browser.
Which if you click will give you a popup telling you of an error, (but useless information about it.)

In firefox go tools > error console.

Yes,i am using firefox and i can see 2 errors for my forum.

PS:The same happens with the modify button(quick modify---not the button that is beside "Remove",but the other...)when i click modify edit what i wanted on that message and then click save,but nothing happens...

I remember someone else having this issue a whileback.

I believe the cause was some code that had been inserted in the ad management mod or that they had manually inserted into the page.

Check the source output to see if you have any line breaks before the DOCTYPE declaration.

1) Source output - html output.
2) Line breaks are basically new lines. Like

this.
3) DOCTYPE declaration is the first line in the HTML source.
