Hey all,

Im making a new theme, http://t101.4ums.net, feel free to join but you will be deleted when i reset the install. (its my testing board) But thats not the point, the point is im trying to add andreas buttons to my look, ive added them to /Themes/Black_Green/ the right place im sure, but its not showing them.

Mini Black buttons.

To know the right place to put any graphic image, right click on the current image and click properties to find the current location.  That's where you need to upload the graphic with the same filename. (over write the existing file)

But thats kinda defeats the point, i wanted to use these buttons instead and as far as i read i was just to put it in my new theme folder, in the directory but it doesnt work.

A.M.A

you are putting them in /Themes/Black_Green/images/english
right?
Really sorry .. real life is demanding my full attention .. will be back soon hopefully :)

Amacythe

THAT was my point.

You need to know what folder to upload the buttons to.

Trekkie101

Sorry Amacythe i thought you meant overwrite the defualt, and yes ive uploaded to there, but they dont show. Gennerally it wouldnt have bugged me but sinse im releasing a theme, i want buttons there that look good (although they wont be with the theme).

A.M.A

If you upload them there .. then it could be a cache problem with your browser, you have modified their places in templates or modified theme's images URL.

No i havent changed the locations i didnt know i was supposed to, i noticed something that was Always, default, and Never for using buttons its set on never to get the default buttons but still does it.

andrea

You must upload the full images folder in your custom theme if you want custom buttons (or alternatively upload the custom buttons in the default/images/english directory). And then point the theme images folder to custom images folder (admin menu, theme settings).
