Port from a PHPBB mod into SMF (Armory World of Warcraft Tooltip)

Hi There,

I was wondering if anyone had seen this Mod for another forum system around for SMF.

As you could imagine, I would much prefer to stay with SMF..

In short, this MOD pulls info from the WoW armory site and displays it with a tooltip..

From what I gather though, from reading about it over it the other forum, a suggestion I would make would be to pull the data then store it in a DB.. If anything purly for performance reasons.

Perhaps you could even format it to be the same layout as the actual armory page? Or instead of it in a tooltip, if there is a way to display the same data in like a flat screen (think if you could just cut out the persons main armory page and then paste the image - to try and understand what I mean)

Yes I did.. Im not after ItemStats.. I use it already and love it.

The mod I linked pulls the character info in from the armory into the tooltip...

The function im really after is the [char=Realmname]Charname[/char] for characters bit



Now correct me if im wrong, but DarkCloud's itemstats dose not do this...

Before PORTING a mod, you would FIRST need to get the EXPRESS permission from the author of the PHPBB mod to do so.
