Topic contains images indicator?

Is there any way to have a little icon, e.g. image icon, appear next to any topic that may have a picture posted in it?  I'm thinking that this mod would just need to determine whether or not an IMG tag was used in a post or if attachments are allowed, whether or not an attachment has been posted with .jpg/.png/.gif extensions, etc.
