Can someone tell me where I can find a good bridge for both software? I'm currently using Joomla 1.0.13 and SMF 14.

I'm lost.... ::)

thanks for the help!

thats a shame... this means that no more SMF for future joomla versions?  having  a smf forum is a big part of my Joomla site.  :'(

anyway I sure hope something new will come of this.

It has been nearly 6 months. There is no forecast for any further development on an smf-joomla bridge, because the licenses are incompatible... and neither smf nor joomla is going to change their license.

You have the option of switching to mambo, before the difference between joomla and mambo gets too great...   there is an officially supported smf-mambo bridge.

As for you superman3...   I have not idea what you were trying to say. It's usually helpful to use complete sentences with a subject and a verb rather than (what appear to be) random words flung together.

make a bridge for people, not for a license ;-)

and yet, software is released under a license.
Therefore, people who release software must adhere to the terms of those licenses... whatever we might want to do as people.

Please no discussion about the licence ;D. We al know that it is a big lost for the Joomla! community that there is no Bridge development any more.

Yes there is an registration component in alpha fase but it still has some bugs.  (JFusion)

There was an update for the JSMF bridge but realise when using this bridge there is not coming any updates for the JSMF bridge. Also this project looks to be stopped.

There for many users are migrating to Mambo.
