SMF Software is distributed free, thereby it becomes available to third-world countries. Buying a forum software is too much of a burden for a webmaster coming from Asia or Latin America or Africa.

Forum sites can help build a nation through open, free, lively, democratic exchange of knowledge and opinion.

Having said that, I want to say "A Million Thanks" to the coders and programmers of SMF.

You guys have no idea how much you've helped people in nations who can't afford a licensed software.
