I would like to disable some of the boards temporarily.  We're going to have a live chat with the person the web site is about, and I just want to disable all the boards except for the one the chat is taking place in.

When I remove the checkmark from every member group so the board won't appear, it still appears for ungrouped members.  Why are they not automatically assigned to groups based on the number of posts?

Thanks!

Did you uncheck the checkmark for ungrouped members too?

jazz

Yes I did.  I saw a post about this same situation at http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=19000.0

I don't think I understand from that thread how to resolve this.

Hmm I think he said that the check mark doesn't matter. That if you uncheck it then they won't have permission even though the check mark appears after reloading the page.

Ok, what I found out is that the check mark will stay next to Ungrouped members, but it's still disabled.  So, it is working then.  Thanks for your help.
