See all pms that were sent on your site

i would like something would let you see all the pm's sent from member to member to stop spammers that send external links via pm's.

There is no feature in SMF for admins to read users pms and there is NOT a mod/hack for it either.  As Oldiesmann cryptically referred to, this has been asked many times before.

SMF-team have indicated they are absolutely against such a feature as they believe admins/mods don't have the right to view anyones PMs except their own.  They also have closed topics where a mod or stepbystep guide has been requested which gives an indication they do not want a mod/how to for it to be posted on SMF.org

With regards to spammers, the 'Report to moderator' function in pms will reveal that individual message to the moderator so they can take appropriate action, whilst maintaining the privacy of the members other messages.

Isn't it so that all messages can be read in the database? Also pm's?

The PM's in the db are not encrypted (in that sense they are PERSONAL, not PRIVATE messages).
But users still have a legitimate expectation of privacy that their PM's are not being read by admins.
