I like the top ones alot.  Maybe a very subtle light grey stroke on the text tho?  Something that doesn't stand out but still makes the text pop just a little bit?  You do excellent work!

The second buttonset looks really good for me. I like the good contrast for the fonts

Glad you like them. Indeed I tried softer colors and do like subtle contrasts myself. Since the buttons are very small the contrast to the background might get less clear.

Indeed the contrast in the 2nd set is sharper. The style of the two sets is very different.

I prefer the first one much more than the second but they are both nice...my only complaint  with the first is the font choice...I don't like the way the "t" looks in that lettering.  It could be hard to read if I didn't know what they said already.

Nice work

Thanks for your feedback Jason. Arent the words used on the buttons well known simple words, at least if the language is the right one, so people will be able read these?

Owdy just sent you an email re. the finnish translation. Indeed my buttons are created with my button buddy, this is a button set generator/translator which I programmed. So no manual translation work is needed any longer, only the language text strings are needed. The button buddy will then auto create finnish buttons... Already entered are the texts on the finnish yse buttons and from the buttons in your smf language pack. It would be great if you could please cross check my entries and translate the extra buttons.

Definitely, i was just being picky ;)  I think most users would be able to read it pretty easily especially if they're familiar with the functionality of a forum, but someone running a high resolution who isn't familiar might have a problem...again, I was just being picky and it's only the letter "t" that I don't like in that font.
