Change IM email notifications

One more question then I'll leave this topic alone. Would it be possible that the Reply-To field be left blank or just have the senders name in it so that the email can't actually be replied to.  Since these are just notifications, there really isn't any reason for there to be any reply.  I guess the same thing for the From: field too, just have the senders name, but no actual email address.  I am unsure whether the mail() function will allow this, but with all the Spam I get that there is no way to reply to or even know where it really came from, it seems like this might be a possibility.  Thanks to everyone that posted an opinion or thought to this post.

What file would need to be edited to change the "Reply-To:" address? I've searched and can't find an answer. I also searched my SMF files. Thanks in advance!
