cookie problem - smf wrapped inside joomla 1.5

hi folks,
I already read that there's no bridge, that's sad but I don't really care as all users log into smf only anyway. I got an other problem though: the user authentication is only session based, as soon as I reopen the forum I have to login again. if I use the direct link to the forum without joomla around it I don't have that problem.

can anybody share some ideas where this might come from? the smf configuration uses as boardurl the direct url (hxxp:www.blabla.com/forum [nonactive]), so the cookie probably checks for this url while joomla generates a link with a wrapper id aso. - is this the problem? is there any way around that?

ok fixed - the inclusion path pointed to my other domain (got .de and .com for the same page...)
