SMF Bridge 1.1.6 with Joomla and SMF 1.1 RC3

I have a problem because on my website www.e-compa.com when a new visitor try to register often receive this message "e-mail or password already exist", but it isn't true!!

Can someone help me?

You really need to upgrade SMF to 1.1.4.  There are many known security issues with 1.1 RC3 already.

You might want to tell your users that they cannot use the same email address to register two different usernames, and they cannot use the same real name to register two different users.

Do you know if to upgrading SMF i could have any problem with the bridge?

The bridge makes no changes to your SMF files, so you can go ahead and upgrade SMF.

You can also upgrade Joomla as far as 1.0.12, but Joomla 1.0.13 will break the login of the bridge.
