I am looking to make adjustments but I can't find where to make them.

Posting habits:

In the next few posts I will point them out.

It happens here too.

I want to make it so that AFTER I post it will go back to my post in the subject, not outside of the thread. So I can check like in other places I joined.

I like to turn off the Subject line in each reply:

Re: Turning off some features

Due to my thread activities it becomes annoying to me.

Another annoying thing to me is (Read ? times), because I post a lot of word stuff and that reminds me everytime on the top of each thread. It could put me off of posting.

How can I turn these things off or hide them?

With knowing how to turn those features that would be perfect for me.

Thank you

karlbenson

Going back into the topic after post is a PER-USER setting.

It can be set for you ONLY via your profile > Look and Layout

Check the option "Return to topics after posting by default. "

If you want to set it for ALL users
Admin > Current Theme > Reset Options

Reset Options for members for this theme
&
then do the same thing for
Reset Options for guests for this theme

Go into each of those pages and check
"Return to topics after posting by default."

As far as I'm aware there isnt a way to disable the subject line of replies.
It could probably be hidden by customizing the theme itself and hiding it.

As Karl says, there is no way to turn off the subject line automatically...
You'll have to modify your theme to remove it (display.template.php)

I am not sure what you mean by this...   but if you are just talking about the "read 24 times" text at the top of the message, then again, modify display.template.php and remove that code.

^ in the ttle of the of topic is states
(Read 21 times)
Again, that could be removed by modifying the theme.

If you don't feel comfortablewith modifying them yourself, you could post a [free] or [paid] request in the help wanted forum, and hopefully you would be able to find someone to do it for you.
