Select users from list when sending news letters?

Is there a way to select specific members form a list as recipients for a newsletter.  I know I can select specific membergroups.  I know I can enter specific email addresses, one at a time.  But it would be great if there was a way to see the whole memberlist and be able to check a box next to the member(s) I want as recipients.  Perhaps this is a mod request??
