I have SMF 1.1.2 at http://www.sotosweb.gr/forum2 [nofollow] and i want to move SMF to a new domain: here [nofollow]. I 've installed SMF ver. 1.1.4 to my new domain and created a new db

My problem is that i cannot export from my old database and import to the new one because the table names does not match.

for ex.
table named "topics" is now "smf_topics" e.t.c.

I 've installed on 1.1.2 the SMF 1.0.11 / 1.1.3 Update and then the SMF 1.0.12 / 1.1.4 / 2.0 b1.1 Update so to fix the db table names. but it did nothing.

Please help me because my first hosting expires in 10 days.
Thank you in advance.

smf_ is the db prefix defined in your settings.php file.  Which is the default prefix for most installs of SMF.

Try to take a backup of your 1.1.2 db via phpMyAdmin.  Be sure to include DROP TABLE commands.  Then take that export and import it into your new host.  You should be able to import the same.

As long as the !db_prefix is the same on both.  Which I can't see why they wouldn't be.
