Strangeness after converting from IPB 1.3.1f to RC2

It appears that permissions do not function properly after conversion from Invision 1.3.1final. Boards that should show up do not.

This issue is FIXED by going into Admin->Manage Boards->(boardname)->Modify and just clicking the "Modify" button at the bottom.

No other changes are necessary, however, this step should not be required.

Strange.  Would you be willing to send me a database dump of the prefix_boards table before making this workaround?

Unfortunately, I've already done the workaround and currently have no plans to re-import the database.

Hopefully this hasn't been discussed before but I've searched this forum for a similar problem to mine but could not find it.

Anyway the problem I encountered is when I ran a conversion from IPB 1.3 Final to SMF Final. Prior to the conversion I decided to create new membergroups to mirror the ones I had set up in IPB to save me time in advance of the switchover to SMF.

I had edited the default SMF membergroups except 'Newbie' to reflect the changes I needed and added a few more new membergroups too.

But once I ran the conversion from IPB I noticed that all the membergroups except for 'Newbie' had dissappeared.
