What do you need from a membership software? If it's for the same website, perhaps you can make use of SMF member database and login function.

Basically people pay for Online Rock Guitar JAM CLUB membership through my store :

I then send them an email with links to access JAM CLUB tracks and chord/scale charts etc.

This idea is in it's infancy, but in future I want to only allow access to these pages via a USERNAME/PASSWORD challenge. It would also be cool to be able to monitor the IP addresses (to stop people sharing JAM CLUB accounts).

I appreciate that I am using SMF software for (what will hopefully in future be) commercial ends. Once this idea gets off the ground I will make a contribution to SMF.
