Too many posts

Hello everyone, I just installed the joomla bridge and upgrade from FireBoard to SMF.  Everything is working great, just one problem, when I moved the users over their user profiles of members logging in for the first time say they have like 160000 posts!  I am not sure why that is happening.  I pretty much minimized the use of Joomla and am focusing on the SMF boards now.  Any input!
