auto embed video clips

I just installed the auto embed video clip package and it shows up as installed in the admin section. I also made sure that automatically link posted urls was enabled.

But the link does not embed the video. Only the active link is displayed as if the mod is not working.

Any ideas what I might have missed.

I'm not convinced my mod installed.

I copied that exact same content over to my forum where i have the mod installed and they both converted.

Can you check that the mod IS definately installed?
Admin > Packages

If it does says its installed can you check in the file
Sources/subs.php

And try to find

Code Select Expand

// START OF AUTO EMBED VIDEO CLIPS MOD

If you can't find it in that file, then it was not properly installed.

thanks. It was a permissions error. I made sure most files were chmod 777 and then it still did not work until I found another post that suggested I create a temp file in the packages directory and then chmod it to 777. Then everything installed ok and it works.

Is there any way, or will there possibly be a way, to add videos from photobucket.com to this mod?

It won't work for the moment with Photobucket.

I have recently tried to add support, but I can't seem to me my regular expression to match their links work.

As soon as I do their videos will be supported.
