How to uninstall Tiny Portal, my sites not accessible with IE browser

I have two SMF forum sites, both with Tiny Portal and both in French.

I realized lately that they are not accessible with the IE browser, but the forums are. Therefore,  I would like to uninstall Tiny Portal but in the package page, there is only the option to erase the files.

Do you think I should erase the files from my server AND the Tiny Portal's MySQL tables?

Thank you.

Do you think I should erase... the Tiny Portal's MySQL tables?

Please disregard this question: there are no MySQL tables for Tiny Portal.

Now, to uninstall it... what do you suggest I can do to either reinstall it or simply leave my forum without a portal?

Thanks

My problem is solved but I was really worried for a couple of days.

I only found out yesterday that my sites (rather, the portals) were not accessible with IE 7 but the forums were but I could not uninstall any of the Tiny Portal on both sites.

What I did to solve the problem, was to check the box about "making urls friendlier to search engines (apache only)" (something like that, it's in French) but when I click on the question mark besides it, it says it won't work with my server, even though it IS an Apache server, go figure!!!

Anyway, I've tried with IE again and they're working.

Have a good day/evening, wherever you are!

Even if you are on Apache, there are a few configuration requirements to make it work properly.

Sorry you weren't able to get direct support. Next time, please try posting in the general support board.

It could have been uninstalled via admin panel (packets). I was trying to do it via the cPanel... old habits die hard!
