Integrate SMF with Mambo pl

Hello friends

This is my first post, I want to convert my site www.jamesmedline.com to  new mambo site www.jamesmedline.com/med .

I want to use this forum to integrate it with mambo. Such that if I post something in my SMF forum, the data of a particular post should be displayed as a page in mambo page.

Is it possible ?? Like using ssi.php in invision forum ??
I shall appreciate any help on this pl.

Do you mean that you want certain message to show up as news items?

The current bridge does the following:

integrated login and registration module
recent topics/messasges module
top topics/replies module
who's online module
related topics module
(this last might be what you are looking for, it allows you to post a news item in Mambo and then start a discussion/topic in SMF from a link in the news item.)

Another user has also released the following modules:
Last Posts
Forum News

And I am in the process of doing a calendar module which will display the SMF calendar as a module...   I already have the events listed with links, I am now working on an actual monthly calendar.

BTW:   You will want to upgrade for Mambo 4.51...

That can be done as a component.  Not a bad idea.

You could even use a mambot, they are very versatile

Ya , if this can be done, it would be great. Then we can just post in
the smf forum and the content of mambo frontpage, latest news,
most popular topics / news can automatically be updated.

Any new developement on this front pl.
