LainaaGot that, so, once I make them a "Supporting Member", they are no longer a "regular member".

Correct.

In this case you allow no post groups, no membergroup except "regular members" into the board (you can only change that through admin > boards).  Disallow the supporter group to get in there.  Once they're supporters, they're no longer regular members

BlackMage,

While this seems to make sense, the "supporters" are counted just as are the other "regular members" (Admins., Assist. Admins., etc., etc.) are counted.

I submit:

10 (as there are only 10 members, then it seems that there are two counts here.

I presume that the 5 regular members shown above are; 2 Administrators (you and I), 1 Assistant Administrator, 1 Honorary Hero Member (Survivor), and 1 Supporting Member.

Yet, it would appear that though their "post counts" on them, they are still in a "post counting group" (as shown by the 6 newbies and 4 Jr. members = 10 members. As they are considered counting members, you are directing my to dis-allow all post counting members to not have access to all the Survivor ONLY boards?  If you say yes, then those that register that are survivors will not have access to the boards that they need to.  Why am I not getting this??!!   I am hoping that you can understand my confusion.

Ok,
I went through and did that through permissions, board by board. all the way through the Supporting Member Boards.  It didn't work.  :(

Many weeks ago, I went through and removed all "regular member permissions board by board under the belief that members were either Post Counting: Newbies, Jr Member, Full Member, Sr. Member, Hero Member; OR Not Post Counting: Administrator, Assistant Administrator, Global Moderator, Moderator, Honorary Hero Member, Supporting Member.  :-[

Now, using another member's account (Assistant Administrator), I changed them to a Supporting member and they could see the Survivor Categories.  >:(

HOWEVER, when I UN-checked all the "Post Counting Groups: Newbies, Jr Member, Full Member, Sr. Member, and Hero Member, they could not see the Survivor Area.  :-[   ;D

I was fearful that when I re-assigned her as a "No Primary Membergroup" that under her name it would only say "regular member".  Alas this was not the case.  I don't know why, but it did show her proper posting position of Sr. Member (which went away when I re-assigned her as Assistant Administrator).

ALL IS NOW GOOD!!!!!!!  :D   :D   :D    :D
The Survivors can only see the General Area (Public),  The Polls Area, Miscellaneous Area, and the Survivor Area.  They CANNOT see the Supporting Members Area!!

The Supporting Members can only see the General Area (Public),  The Polls Area, Miscellaneous Area, and the Supporting Members Area.  They CANNOT see the Survivor's Area!!

And lastly, only Staff Members can see the Staff Area!!

YEA!!!!
Thank you for patience, perseverance, and leading me down the path that lead to the answer.
   O:)

As ever,
