[THEME Help]Forum too wide, or not wide enough

Basically, my theme is nothing more than a recolor of the default theme with my sites navigation look and feel wrapped around it.

The total site design is centered on the site being no narrower than 800px and no wider than 1280px. The left and right bars are 180px wide, and the center box (where the forum resides) should be no narrower than 440px.

The rest of the site works fine for the 800 to 1280 width changes. The forum is either too wide for 800px, or too narrow at 1280px.

At the wider resolutions it's more cosmetic as there is a visible jump of the right margin when switching from the site to the forum, but the narrow resolution is actually a problem because I don't want people that are using 800px resolutions (all 5 of them) to have to scroll.

Any help you could give would be appreciated.

Thanks.
