do you realize how much space that is? its over 2 terabytes! divide that number by 1000 twice and you have 2147 gigabytes. which is probably more hard disk space than you have on your hosting  :p. what problem are you having?

i dont  have a big volume of members were small time.. lol..
i have a flash mp3 player but i have to do all the set ups..for the site..

can you put this into a file called phpinfo.php and upload it to somewhere publically accessable, then link to it?

<?php phpinfo(); ?>

By default, PHP limits uploads to 2 Megabytes -- this isn't an smf limit but a limit on the module which parses the files our software is made of.

But lets see what your phpinfo says first.

I agree, the size of the upload attachments need to be increased. Anyone know how to do this?

If you're truly being limited by PHP's file size limit, you'd need to have your host do it unless you have access to php.ini.

the attribute in question is upload_max_filesize. Default on it is 2 Megabytes maximum for files uploaded via PHP

In many cases you can be limited by the max_execution_time as well, as the script wouldn't be able to finish before the time because of the upload still in progress.  Default on that is 30 Seconds

You can also try to use php_value upload_max_filesize 5M in your .htaccess file.

True.  If that doesn't work, your forum probably wont either.  Just remove it and it should be back to where it was
