Child Forum shows in latest post?

Well, I was looking but didn't find anything, I was looking for a mod so that the child forum posts show up in the main forums latest post still since its still all the same category, and I don't use the main categories

Are you using the latest version?

Go to-
"Admin>Boards>Settings>Count child's posts in parent's totals"

Make sure that it is checked.
I think that should do the trick.

ah, i figured it out.

My format for the boards were as followed:

Parent > Child > Child

I wanted for the child board OF the child board to show in the parent boards recent posts, instead I reordered the board.
