Conversion from IdealBB to SMF

Not sure where else to put this, so I am putting it here.

I am wondering if there are any kind of converters out there to go from an IdealBB system to SMF?

Or, is this something that can be done fairly easily?  I am trying to convince a friend to convert over, but he does not want to lose any of the info that he has on his boards.
