Trouble with Mod Installs -- Please Help

I have tried several mods trying to get them installed on SMF. I have done 3 clean install with smf with the new patch, I've deleted all sql databases each time. I've tried installing the Gallery, it installs with no errors but will not add the button. (and I would like to purchase the pro version)

I've tried the Headers and footers, it installs, no problems, but the link from the admin never shows up. I've tried this 3 times.

And I tried one of the other ones just to see what is going on. Same problem

I've been using the install from the package section within the admin.

I wished there is something I can do to fix this. Any help would be appreciated.

How did you isntall smf, manually or through Fantastico. If it is the last one, go to the server settings in your admin panel and change the default language from english utf8 to plain english

Here is a really good one. After installing about 4 modules and they all worked great after setting the server to english, but I am the only user that can see the tabs on the menu or have access to them. I had another administrator to log on to look at the site but none of the buttons are available. I signed in with thier name and behold you can't see any of the mods installed.

Any Idea on this one?

What mods are we talking about? Maybe it is a permission''s issue.

Means another administrator suppose to have the same permission as he does.
My guess maybe he is not in defulat themes

New Topic Button
Admin Notepad
SMF Staff page

Sherpa, I went in to check and everything that I can find is set to the default theme. another funny thing I just saw is when you log out and view as a guest the gallery button shows up. I log back on as administrator on another account and those mod's are not available.
