Joomla-SMF to just SMF

I am using Joomla hacks bridge on one of my site and I am thinking about shifting to just SMF since I am not using the Joomla part very much.

So is this possible considering the database migration? If yes, any tips?

Uninstall Joomla, and overwrite your SMF files with clean files.
