I need to find out who downloaded every attachment (I'm using a SMF forum for my students and I don't want to disable the download function).
It exists already made a mod that gives this information? If not...
Thanks!
P.S. I'm using 1.1.4 version.

In SMF it is already possible to customize things so that only specific users can download attachments:

1. Create a new membergroup.
2. Give only this group permission to view/download attachments.
3. Add members to the group from their profile (profile -> Account Settings, click on "Show Additional Groups" and check the box next to the group) - this ensures that members do not know the group exists.

If you want to allow all members to view attachments but only allow certain ones to download them, ask JayBachatero to update his Attachments Download Permission mod to work with 1.1.4.

Oldies,

I don't think he's concerned with who CAN download it, but rather who HAS downloaded it...
I think he wants to know which of his students have downloaded the classwork attachment

Haralamb,   I'd suggest requesting a mod. This is not something that would be desired enough for a feature, IMO.  (I have moved your request into mod requests rather than feature requests)

Thanks for the answers!
I need to know WHO did what they must do it and who don't... And when...
Thanks for moving to mod requests!

The mod would need to create a new database table. For each download instead of just incrementing the counter you would add a row to the download log table. Then you would need an interface to make some sense of that information. Very doable.

Thanks! I understand that there are some chances...
Unfortunately, I'm only a user capable to click on "downloaded # times"... And I have no time to learn php, mysql...
So, I HOPE that somebody has time enough to do this!   :)
