Oxygen to SMF?

One of my forum's member recently asked me if a conversion script from Oxygen to SMF was already written, or one is planned to be written ?

There isn't yet, although I have just downloaded a copy - I may try write a basic converter for it if they want - although give me a week as I'm aware a lot now until after new year. By basic I mean members and forums/topics/messages only - also I can't promise I'll find the time

Oxygen is based on XMB 1.5rc5 so I don't think that's difficult to modify the script which you already have for converting XMB to SMF?

I'm sorry, but converters can take time to write.  Grudge is taking a look at it, but he has many other things to do as well - as do many of the others on this team.

We'll keep you updated.  In the mean time, you might look for a converter to other software, which you can use to get to SMF - for example, if phpBB has such a converter, you could use it to convert to phpBB, and from there use the phpBB converter to SMF.

I can actually confirm that the XMB works fine. Oxygen is practically identical to XMB in the schema. Try the XMB converter and let me know if you have any problems.

I'd say there are worst results

I will try clean this up and make it it's own converter - but it looks like you've got more than what I would have been able to knock up from scratch anyway (Time is limited right now). I would say you may want to empty the personal_messages table, as it looks like only half of the personal messages got converterted - and it's probably better to lose all than some...
