Error message: no valid board selected for recycled topics

I am getting this message when wanting to delete a POST.  How do I fix this?
Why is it everybody knows more than me?

Admin > Boards > Settings>

Select a forum to use to take recycled topics, OR uncheck recycle deleted posts/topics
