Prevent same IP registration

I was wondering if there is a mod now with that... or no one has made it and someone could. I was wondering if we can prevent same IP registration WITHOUT banning the current account. Is this possible? I use 1.1.4

I sorta second this.

However, the features I would like on this modification would be:

+ Option to restrict users from registering on the forum if their IP is that of another member.
+ Option to notify (as in, either PM or email. Option to choose that too. =P ) administrators of a user that signed up with an IP that another member has.
+ Option to enable/disable the modification completely.
+ Options located in Admin > Registrations > Settings
