for example, i tried to put an url there with ~ in the end, but it doesn't work

The link to the support for the Simple Portal is not working. I need some help with a glitch on my forum on the portal. The navbar is messed up on the standalone page: http://www.lighthousetrailsresearch.com/LTForum/PortalStandalone.php

I have a custom block setup in the center of my simpleportal. It stretches all the way across my page though and i'm wondering how i could reduce the width size so that it can be any size i want?

I figure it's something to do with;

Have you set permissions for the shoutbox? (where you created it their is a drop down menu)

Avez-vous définir des autorisations pour la shoutbox? (Où vous avez créé il leur est un menu déroulant)

Sorry for the late answer, i've resolved my problem alone ...
But 'ive a new problem :
I use aeva  and flow player (audio & video & flash), i use too radioblog bbcode (mp3)..
I insert vidéo (youtube, daylimotion), mp3 ... but in editing mode I see this, not in finaly posted : just links

Fortunately the good people @ Simple Portal made this easy for everybody

See the style options at the bottom of the config area for that block

Custom Body Style: in their use the CSS style for underline:

Just add:
text-decoration:underline; in that form.

Any styles can be used even for the title

That's what the custom class for.

You can add another custom class, in portal.css, maybe called recentreplies then add multiple styles

Portal.css

Add this after any class

.recentreplies
{
      Some styles in here
      another one here
      another one here
      and so on
}

Block settings.
In custom body class, just add the recentreplies to it

In the portal.css add the class with the dot on it

In the block settings no need to add the dot to the beginning.

I've got some real basic questions about SimplePortal - the kind which are likely answered in an installation doc, but I didn't see one in the download package.  Looks like hxxp:simpleportal.net/ [nonactive] is not working (still?).  Arrghh.

If I install SMF in a /forum folder, and then install SimplePortal, what do I need to do to ensure SimplePortal handles the index page for the domain root?
