Show options in default language (English) when there is no translation

I have had problems with this before, I have to revert the forum language to English just to "see" additional info that's not translated.

For example check the "notes" section of this:
http://custom.simplemachines.org/themes/index.php?lemma=20

If you can't see the theme settings in the admin panel then you haven't got english set as the default forum language, contact me if you are interested in translating that section.

Wouldn't it be nice if SMF would show the English (or whatever available language the component has) version of the component if there isn't an available translation for it?

while i agree it is useful it could be a huge performance issue to do this with all the extra includes, and as such most likely would probably not be an ideal solution.
