revenue sharing or ad management?

I'm new here, love simple machines forum, and am very impressed with the talent here.

I have a question about ads vs revenue sharing - I am faced with installing ad management or revenue sharing and would like to know the pros/cons of each to help me make a decision.

I am a newbie and its gotta be impossible to talk down to me . . . I need advice from the ground up!

revenue sharing is you want to allow other member's to place their own google or other ads on your site and allow them to earn income.

Ad management mod if you want to get all the money from all advertisements.
