I am so dismayed that the superb SMF wont now be easily configurable via a bridge with joomla 1.5

Its such a shame and so much hard work ends the end of an era. Just using the new phpBB forums on joomla's site reveals that this forum doesnt work as well.

But im here for some help if possible I am getting the following error upon activation of a users account although it seems to activate the user, but with this error obviously they think it didnt work.

The announcement of that was nine months ago.  You've had a long time to look for other options.

Well I have a lot of other things to do like just trying to keep spammers at bay, maybe id actually like to keep using smf. which in fact I would.
but really the forum has been a big flop, i think people only write in them when they are after something, sharing info isnt high on peoples minds it was novel but since such super slick interfaces like facebook who kept things error free and simple ) people are over it..so I may just ditch the forum.

On the other stuff I will try and find some error logs. thanks
