Suggestion - Avatar warning/blocking if already used

Hi,
today I saw a simple but annoying problem. If two or more people use the same avatar confusion is preassigned. So my suggestion would be a function that blocks double use of avatars from the gallery. Somethink like a message: this avatar is already in use, please choose another. It doesn't have to be a permission but a warning like this would be great.
Do you think that could be possible?
