Forum name....change possible?

I wanted to request that my forum name be changed, if possible... please?

If you admin the forum, it is in your administration panel.

If you are using a free host, this is not the support forum for your free forum hosting service.

Check out the Configuration section of the manual.

I will look again, but it said it was set and could not be changed. I do pay TinyPortal hosting monthly.

This is what the Core Configuration states...
These settings cannot be changed because Settings.php is read only.

So, I am just understanding that you are saying I need to talk with TinyPortal hosting to make the change rather than here?

I don't know about TinyPortal hosting in particular, but if you can chmod (via ftp or otherwise) Settings.php then you can fix that. Not knowing, you are probably better off contacting them.

The cheapest plan at TP-hosting has cpanel, changing file permissions is just a few clicks in cpanel.

Admin > Server settings >  forum name should do it
