i think in additrion to stickies their should be announcements which are shown above sitickies and  be able to be on multipule boards at once so topic 82 could be shown on two or more boards above that boards sticky, so you don't have to have multipule copies of an annocement, this would be usefule for displaying forum rules and important annoucements.

Perhaps you've received responses in two out of three topics but not quite the ones you'd hoped for?

I know IPB now has this as does vBulletin but announcement posts, they would be like stickies but they are listed above the stickies and are shown a=on all the boards and the staff only has to modify one copy.

I would really like the Super Sticky Topics mod ported to SMF.  :D

or better yet an announcements mod, better than super stickies cause you post in in one board and mark it as a announcement then it shows up above stickies on every board, great for important announcements you want to make sure your members see. ;)

It *may* be available in SMF 1.1
in the mean time you could use this tip:
Displaying 'news' as forum-wide 'super-sticky'

i reall don't like that method or installing hacks manually as i usually mage to mess things up, lol, besides i really don't like its setup, i can't wait for it to be a feature, or for a bneter hack to come out. ;)  ;D

Not trying to tell you what you think, Ryan, but quoted these topics because I *knew* you'd received responses on this subject. So I'd suggest not making light of that when you're looking for help because it's not fair to the folk who've responded before.

so now you know whats fair for everyone?  what would be fair to me is to get an answer without your Stupid, Pointless, Annoying Messages in my threads.

did you know that?  well yes you did probably, you seem to know all...

Ryan - please care for a friendly tone. And please stop to ask the same again and again - even after people have tried to help you.

Locked.
