I built a 2.0 SMF.
Backed up the database.
Backed up my SMF folder.
Uninstalled the SMF and database
Built a new 2.0 SMF on a seprate server
Transfered over and replaced my "style" index.temp " boardindex " subs " englishindex " and images folder.
Restored my database with the one i backed up from the first forum.
Now i go to my forum and get a completely unstyled page rljoneson.com/faf/forum/index.php

Please let me know if you see a blank page with unstyled content, or if you see a nice looking page. Im having issues with my domain attached to the forum. Tech support for my domain said my main site looked fine, but on my end, it's pointing to an old site from a pervious hosting provider.

Here is the file i restored
rlj0809005455055.sql
I don't know too much about database transferring, but is this the only file that needed to be restored, and could a database transfer issue effect the CSS of the forum??

Try using repair_settings.php and making sure that the directories are linked correctly. (What is repair_settings.php?)

It looks to me like a theme directory error!

Or the directory of the theme dir isn't correct. ;)

Brian. Bob. THANKS!!! Repair_Settings.php is a GREAT tool! It worked. My images and themes were pointed at an old directory. All fixed. For now... ;D

No problem. :) Just remember, if you have a similar problem like this in the future ~ try to correct it yourself using repair_settings.php.
