PhPbb to SMF Password help

ok it finds the paths (think) the only problem is it wont except my password, and yes its the right one. I use the same password for both php and smf but it still tells me wrong password, whats up with this?

You can triple check the password by opening up Settings.php (In the SMF directory), and it's the value callde $db_pass.

Note the password is your DATABASE password, not your forum admin password

Alsome that worked great, also for anyone who has this problem: for me the password in the Settings.php file was different then the one for my server, so you will have to check this in order to provide a correct password.

but now I get this error:
Sorry, the database connection information used in the specified installation of SMF cannot access the installation of phpBB2. This may either mean that the installation doesn't exist, or that the MySQL account used does not have permissions to access it.

wow nevermind, for once I figured it out and just incase anyone else has that problem the solotion is:

Add the same Databass username from the SMF DB to the PBPbb Data base
Your PhPbb DB should have 2 users with FULL access, after you have finished dont forget to delete the additional user, if you leave it it might be a risk.
